Overview

The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Law aims to provide learners with opportunities to develop knowledge and understanding of core legal principles while building foundational professional and research skills.

Entry Profile

Learners are likely to meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Relevant Level 3 Diploma
  • GCE Advanced Level in 2 subjects or equivalent qualification
  • Mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (to be verified by the delivery centre before registration).

  • To achieve a ‘pass’, learners must provide evidence that they have met the required standards.

The Assessor will make a judgement on learners’ achievements and provide an audit trail to demonstrate how the judgement was reached.

Progression

Successful completion of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Law provides learners with opportunities for further academic progression, including:

  • The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Law.

As the qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners may also be eligible for direct entry into Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
