Overview

ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Business and Management is a 60-credit Ofqual regulated qualification (Qualification No: 610/2057/6) offering a flexible entry point to higher education business learning. It addresses both the external environment confronting modern businesses and the internal operational world of management. Graded with Pass, Merit, and Distinction, this course can be delivered via distance learning or blended modes (full-time or part-time).

Course Structure & Units (Total 60 Credits):

  • Mandatory Units (30 Credits): The Business Environment (15 Credits), People in Organisations (15 Credits).
  • Optional Units (Choose 30 Credits): Financial and Management Accounting Techniques for Managers (15 Credits), Communication Skills for Business (15 Credits), Resource Management (15 Credits), The Marketing Mix (15 Credits), Corporate Social Responsibility (15 Credits), Managing a Work-based Team Project (15 Credits), Entrepreneurship (15 Credits), Customer Relationship Management (15 Credits), Administrative Services (15 Credits), Managing Information and Knowledge (15 Credits), Managing Operations (15 Credits), Managing Quality (15 Credits), Digital Communications (15 Credits).

Entry Requirements

Minimum Age: 18 years and above.

Academic Qualifications:

GCE Advanced Level profile with achievement in 2 or more subjects supported by 5 or more GCSEs at grades C and above, OR

Other related Level 3 qualifications (such as an ATHE Level 3 Diploma), OR

An Access to Higher Education Certificate, OR

Equivalent international qualifications (such as HSC / A-Level).

English Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, PTE Academic 42–49, CAE 162+, or an approved equivalent.
