Overview

The ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Business and Management is a 120-credit Ofqual regulated qualification (Qualification No: 610/1764/4) equivalent to an A-Level or Access to Higher Education qualification. It is specifically designed for learners who wish to progress to a Bachelor’s degree in business or management at a university. Graded with Pass, Merit, and Distinction, this qualification is eligible for UCAS Tariff points and can be studied via classroom, distance learning, or blended modes.

Course Structure & Units (Total 120 Credits):

  • Mandatory Units (90 Credits): Business Environment (10 Credits), How Businesses and Organisations Work (10 Credits), Business Communication (10 Credits), Working in Teams (10 Credits), Market Research (20 Credits), Introduction to Financial Controls in Business (15 Credits), Leading and Managing People (15 Credits).
  • Optional Units (Choose 30 Credits): Principles of Marketing and Sales (15 Credits), Human Resources (15 Credits), Organisational Strategy (15 Credits), Online Marketing (15 Credits), International Business (15 Credits), Project Management (15 Credits).

Entry Requirements

Minimum Age: 16 years and above.

Academic Qualifications:

5 or more GCSEs at grades C and above (or Grade 4 and above), OR

Other related Level 2 qualifications, OR

Equivalent international qualifications (such as SSC / O-Level).

English Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, PTE Academic 42–49, CAE 162+, or an approved equivalent qualification.
