Overview

ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Business and Management (2023) is a 60-credit Ofqual regulated qualification (Qualification No: 610/2291/3) designed for individuals aiming to advance their careers in management or progress toward higher education studies. It equips learners with an in-depth understanding of strategic management concepts, global business operations, leadership, financial decision-making, and organisational behaviour.

Course Structure & Units (Total 60 Credits):

  • Mandatory Units (30 Credits): Business Organisations in a Global Context (15 Credits), People Management (15 Credits).
  • Optional Units (Choose 30 Credits): Finance for Managers (15 Credits), Research Project (15 Credits), Managing Communication (15 Credits), Marketing Principles and Practice (15 Credits), Manage Sustainability in an Organisation (15 Credits), Small Business Enterprise (15 Credits), Business Law (15 Credits), Operations Management (15 Credits), Information for Strategic Decision-Making (15 Credits), Organisational Analysis and Change (15 Credits), Financial Systems and Auditing (15 Credits), Business Ethics (15 Credits), Planning a New Business Venture (15 Credits).

Entry Requirements

Minimum Age: 18 years and above.

Academic Qualifications:

Completion of a Level 4 qualification (such as an ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Business and Management) or an equivalent national/international qualification.

Relevant managerial work experience may also be considered in lieu of formal qualifications on a case-by-case basis.

English Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, PTE Academic 42–49, CAE 162+, or an approved equivalent.
